Smartiflix: what you need for IPTV setup
Setting up Smartiflix takes four things and no technician. The email you get after ordering your Smartiflix subscription has the most important one; get these four ready:
- Your Smartiflix welcome email: your login details (Xtream Codes URL, username and password, plus M3U and EPG links), sent once your order is confirmed on WhatsApp and paid (check your spam or junk folder too)

How does IPTV work?
IPTV brings TV over your internet connection, with no cable box or satellite dish. The ITU defines it as "multimedia services such as television/video/audio/text/graphics/data delivered over IP-based networks". Smartiflix provides the channels, movies and series; your app displays them. No app provides content on its own: you need a Smartiflix subscription.

You sign in to the app once with your login details (Xtream Codes URL, username and password, plus M3U and EPG links), and it loads everything: live channels, movies and series, and the TV guide (EPG).

Smartiflix has no app of its own: you watch in a third-party player and sign in with your Smartiflix login. These are the players Smartiflix's own guide names for each device.

Install safely: Smartiflix tips
- Install apps only from your device's official app store or the app developer's official source: never from an unknown site.
- Allowing unknown apps is needed only to install a player outside an app store (with Downloader on a Fire TV Stick, for example): you can switch it off again once your player is installed.
- Never post your password or your login details in a public message or a screenshot.
- No player app provides content on its own: the channels come from your Smartiflix subscription. Smartiflix has no app of its own; these are third-party players, and none is included with a plan. Some player apps charge their own licence, paid to the app developer, not to Smartiflix.
Smartiflix: IPTV for Firestick (Fire TV Stick)
On an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Fire TV, Smartiflix's guide installs IPTV Smarters Pro with the Downloader app, then signs in with the login from your welcome email.
- From the Home screen, go to Find → Search, search for Downloader and install it.
- Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps, and turn it ON for Downloader.
- Don't see Developer options? Open Settings → My Fire TV → About and click your device name 7 times, then go back.
- Open Downloader, allow its permissions, and get IPTV Smarters Pro from its developer's official source, or ask the team on WhatsApp for the current link.
- Install IPTV Smarters Pro, open it from your Apps list, and accept its terms.
- Choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" and enter any name (for example Smartiflix), then the username, password and server URL from your welcome email.
- Click Add user and wait for the channels and the TV guide to load.

- Open the App Store and search for "Smarters Player Lite".
- Download and install the app, then open it.

- Click Add user and wait for the playlist and the TV guide (EPG) to load.

Smartiflix IPTV setup on Samsung and LG Smart TVs
On Samsung and LG Smart TVs, the guide uses SET IPTV, NET IPTV or Smart IPTV from the TV's app store. These apps are activated with your TV's MAC address: you send it to the team on WhatsApp.
Some player apps charge their own licence, paid to the app developer, not to Smartiflix.
- Samsung: press the Smart Hub button, go to Apps and search for SET IPTV, NET IPTV or Smart IPTV. LG: press Home and search the LG Content Store.
- Install the app and open it: it shows your TV's MAC address (or Device ID).
- Write the MAC address down carefully and send it to the team on WhatsApp with your order.
- Once the team confirms the activation, close and reopen the app (or restart the TV): the channels load.

Smartiflix IPTV setup on MAG, Roku and Chromecast
For Roku, Chromecast and MAG boxes, ask the team on WhatsApp to confirm your exact device before paying: the method depends on the model. A MAG box uses a MAG portal instead of an app, activated with the box's MAC address.
- Before you order, message the team on WhatsApp with your exact device and model, and wait for them to confirm a working method.
- MAG box: press SETUP (or SET) on the remote and open System settings → Servers → Portals.
- Enter a name in Portal 1 Name (for example Smartiflix) and the portal URL the team gives you in Portal 1 URL, then save.
- Send the box's MAC address (on the sticker underneath, or under Device Info) to the team on WhatsApp, with your order or just after. Once it's activated, reboot the box.
- Roku or Chromecast: follow the method the team confirms for your device.

The picture stutters or buffers
Use an Ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi if you can, close apps running in the background, restart the device and your router, and run a speed test. If it keeps stuttering, watch in HD rather than 4K.
"Invalid login" when signing in
Type each field by hand, exactly as in your email: usernames and passwords are case-sensitive, and a space before or after breaks them. The server URL must include http:// (and the port, if one is given).
No channels are loading
Refresh the playlist in the app's settings, clear the app's cache and restart it, or remove the login and add it again from scratch. Still nothing? Try another device or player app.
The TV guide is empty or wrong
Refresh the EPG in the app's settings and wait a few minutes; check that the device's date, time and time zone are automatic. If your app takes an EPG link, use the one from your welcome email.
The app keeps crashing
Clear the app's cache, update the app and the device's software, or uninstall and reinstall the app. If it still crashes, try another player.
Watching on a new device
